Our Legacy
The Bolkar journey began under the visionary leadership of Sri Bola Gokuldas Kamath, who laid the foundation for a business built on trust and integrity. Today, the Bolkar continue this legacy through three generations, staying rooted to tradition while embracing modern innovations.
Our Inspiration.
Bolkar is the legacy inherited from Sri Bola Thimmappa Kamath (1885-1961). The astute visionary and Entrepreneur, he was the founder of our parent organization during the early 20th century when most of India was passing through bullock cartage.
Even under the British rule during those days, he ventured into international trade, exporting shiploads of Rice to Gulf countries from Mulki port of Dakshina Kannada district. of erstwhile Madras Province through his agents based in Calicut.
He was the largest supplier of rice in this part of India till 1925. That was the time when the cashew business had begun, and he started expanding the business of cashew Nuts along with other forest produce available during those days.
